A device for screening of paper and cellulose pulp comprises a flow channel 4 for pulp suspension that is to be screened, together with a screen surface 1a defining the flow channel, the said surface having openings, holes or the like 5 for separating out the required fraction from the pulp suspension that is to be screened. The screen surface has an undulating shape such that the said openings, holes or the like 5 are distributed over the various undulations on both opposing sides 1b, 1c. The screen surface is formed by the surface 1a of a curved screen plate 1 of essentially uniform thickness facing the flow channel 4. <IMAGE>
