The lift system includes an electronic lift cage controlled by a control device utilising a computer and a relay lift whose cage is controlled by a control device utilising a relay circuit. Both lifts are group-supervised by a single group supervision apparatus. The lift group supervision apparatus comprises a device connected to the relay circuit controller to transfer signals and a circuit electronically connected to the computerbased controller to transfer signals. A group-supervisory computer receives hall call signals, a status signal from the relay circuit controller and a status signal from the computer-based controller to collectively group-supervise the lifts.
