PURPOSE:To seal a center core in a molded item, by supporting the core, which is to be sealed, in a space in a mold by a tip section of an ejector pin, and effecting injection in such a manner that an injection gate is arranged so that the injected matter will finally fill the position of the ejector pin. CONSTITUTION:The core 3 is supported by the tip section of the ejector pin 4 with the core 3 positioned at the center of the spherical space 2 in the molds 1, 1a, and when the injection is effected with the injection gate 5 arranged opposite to the ejector pin, the injected matter 7 flows round the core 3. When the injected matter 7 reaches near the ejector pin, the pin 4 is withdrawn to a position where the tip of the pin 4 is flushed with the inner surfaces of the molds. The core 3 is enclosed with the injected matter 7 flowed in, and finally the remaining space near the ejector pin is filled with the injected matter 7. Then the molds 1, 1a are separated at the parting surface 6, and the product is removed from the molds. |
