Process which is carried out by means of an injection machine 20 equipped with a mould 10 and which comprises basic conventional operations including a plasticizing operation and a material-metering operation, an operation of injection of the material and an operation in which it is arranged for the material to be maintained under pressure, but with an additional feature which consists in the injection channel 50 being interrupted midway along its length so as to prevent communication between the inside of the body 22 of the machine and the cavity 11 of the mould 10, this operation being carried out after the injection operation but at the same time as the operation arranging for the material to be maintained under pressure is carried out. The operation arranging for the material to be maintained under pressure is carried out by using, firstly, the injection machine 20 actuated per se by a plunger 21 in order to exert a first internal or external non-staggered pressure on the entirety of the injected material but using, secondly, other means suitable for exerting a second staggered or non-staggered internal pressure on a front part of the injected material which is separated owing to the interruption of the injection channel 50.
