<p>Peptides of the formula I: R - A - B - gln - Trp - Ala - trp - C - D - Leu - E - R1 I wherein amino acids in lower case are in D form; R represents hydrogen atom or a terminal nitrogen protecting group; A represents a valence bond or, when R represents hydrogen atom, Glp-Gln-Arg-Leu-Gly or Glp residue; B represents a valence bond or Lys, Asn or Thr residue; C represents a valence bond or Gly, ala, or Phe residue; D represents a valence bond or his, trp residue; E represents a Nle, Leu, Phe or leu residue; R1 represents a OR2 or NR3R4 group, in which each of R2, R3, R4 independently represents hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, having from 1 to 11 carbon atoms, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, are bombesin antagonists. Their preparation and pharmaceutical compositions containing them are also described.</p> |
