LINEAR PRODUCT OF POLYESTER

摘要

PURPOSE:A specific amount of diglycidyl tetrahydrophthalate is added to a polyethylene terehthalate of a specific intrinsic viscosity and they are melt extruded and drawn to improve its filament splitting and drawing properties, thus giving the titled linear product of high strength used for fish nets. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of polyethylene terephthalate with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.4-1.1 are combined with 0.01-5.0pts.wt. of diglycidyl tetrahydrophthalate and/or diglycidyl hexahydrophthalate and they are blended, then melt extruded by means of an extruder provided with a screw and a round dice into a linear product, cooled in a water bath and drawn at a ratio exceeding 2 by use of differential rolles in hot water to give the objective linear product.
