Device for laterally shaking the vegetation bearing fruits or berries such as for example vine stocks V for detaching the said fruits therefrom, of the type including two sets of shaker members placed on each side of the vegetation V, these shaker members being flexible and coupled to mechanisms 12 and 19 driving each of them with a reciprocating to-and-fro movement during which one of these sets moves closer to the vegetation whilst the other moves away from it and vice versa. These shaker members consist of closed rings 5, 9, 10, 26 inside which is placed at least one stop 6, 11 which, during the reciprocating to-and-fro movement of the said rings 5, 9, 10, 26 gives rise to their elastic deformation. <IMAGE>
