PURPOSE:To reduce color staining and color fogging of a color photographic sensitive material by incorporating a specified polymer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material contains as a color mixing preventive agent the polymer obtained by polycondensing in the presence of an acid or basic catalyst at least one of each of compounds of formulae I and III in which L is a divalent bonding group; RED is a group reacting with the oxidation product of a developing agent; Z is a group removable by H or alkali; each of (l) and (m) is 1 or 2; (n) is 1-4; and R is H, carboxy, or the like. A compound of formula II and the like are used for the compounds of formula I, and a compound of formula IV and the like and a combination of them are used for the compounds of formula III. This polymer can be incorporated in an interlayer or the like interposed by emulsion layers different in color sensitivity from each other. |
