PURPOSE: To obtain an aqueous formulation capable of preventing formation of crystal and destruction of aqueous emulsion and suitable for lon-term storage by adding a definite amount of a compound such as butyl phenol or oleyl alcohol to an agrochemically active substance which is sparingly soluble in water. CONSTITUTION: This aqueous formulation comprises 1-70wt.% agrochemically active substance (e.g. frathiocarb, methidathion or trimexachlor), a compound of the formula ROM [R is an alkyl, an alkenyl, phenyl, 4-biphenyl,α- methylbenzyl, etc.; M is H, an alkali (earth)metal, etc.] (e.g. butylphenol, dibutylphenol or lauryl alcohol) in an amount capable of preventing crystallization of the active substance or destruction of emulsion (preferably in (20:1) to (3:1) weight ratio of agrochemically active substance to the compound of the formula and optionally formulation auxiliaries and/or other agrochemically active substances. The formulation is useful as a seed-dressing agent.
