PURPOSE:To analyze the detail of error information and to express a content by storing a detail diagnostic program in a hidden part, and starting up the program by hardware after mapping on a memory map only when an error occurs. CONSTITUTION:An initial program having an initial diagnostic program and a detail diagnostic program is stored in a ROM 14. The detail diagnostic program in the ROM 14 is set at a state where it is hidden on a real memory map. When the error occurs in the initial diagnostic program, an error status register 13 is set, and the information of the fact is informed to a decoder 12. And the select signal of the ROM 14 is generated when the storage address of the detail diagnostic program in the ROM 14 is supplied, and it is mapped on the real memory map observing from a CPU 11. In such a way, it is possible to perform the detail analysis of the content of the error and clarify it by the detail diagnostic program when the error occurs. |
