PURPOSE: To prevent a patient from danger, by leading out a gaseous coolant flowing out from a magnetic field gradient meter in inside of an inner space through a neck, in a magnetometer provided with a Dewar flask and assembling a check throttle device. CONSTITUTION: A Dewar flask 2 is placed under or at a side of magnetic field gradient meters 24a-24c, a particularly assembled container 18 is mounted in its inner space 3, and a liquid coolant K1 is supplied through a pipe path led through a neck 4. A squid 21 is mounted in or adjacent to the assembled container 18, from which a sent-out gaseous coolant K2 is supplied to a superconducting magnetic field gradient meters 24a-24c through a hose type path 25. The gaseous coolant K3 flowing out from the magnetic field gradient meters 24a-24c is led outward and a throttle device 27 is assembled to prevent a relatively high temperature gaseous coolant in the neck 4 from inversely flowing. As a result, an overhead placing of the Dewar flask can be avoided an effective cooling of the superconductive parts in the apparatus can be guaranteed. |
