PURPOSE:To perform the test of an exception by selecting an instruction which generates the exception out of a test targeted instruction group, selecting the exception generated from the exception in which a selected instruction can be generated, and setting environment to generate a selected exception. CONSTITUTION:The instruction to generate the exception from instruction sequence generated by a random test program generating means 11 by an exception generating instruction selection means 12. And a test targeted exception is selected from the exception in which the selected instruction can be generated by an exception selection means 13. Furthermore, the environment where a selected test targeted exception can be generated is set by an exception instruction setting means 14. A generated random test program is transferred to a first random test program 40 on a second main storage 4 via an inter-device interface 7. In such a manner, the test of the exception can be performed. |
