<p>PURPOSE:To separate and recover the oil and iron manufacturing material from oil-contg. iron sludge as reutilizable resources by heating the sludge at a specified temp. in a closed heating furnace to vaporize the oil, and separating the oil from the sludge. CONSTITUTION:The iron powder and iron oxide powder generated in the steel industry, machining industry, etc., and contg. oil such as lubricating oil are charged into the closed heating furnace 1, and heated by plural burners 2 to 410-500 deg.C. Consequently, the oil in the oil-contg. iron sludge consisting of the iron powder and iron oxide powder contg. oil is vaporized, cooled in a cooling chamber 3 into liq. oil, and recovered in an oil storage chamber 4. The iron powder and iron oxide powder freed of oil are effectively reutilized respectively as the raw material for powder metallurgy and as the raw material for sintered ore to be used in a blast furnace.</p> |
