The subject of the invention is a curbstone comprising spaces for cables to be passed and/or drawn through, the ends of which are assembled by mortises and tenons. The said curbstone consists of a parallelepipedal block, the pavement-side face of which can comprise a truncation 3 in its upper part, and the edges of which at this location are rounded, the spaces 6, 7, 8, 9 for cables to be passed through are provided at the base of the said block, so as to be protected by the concrete of the gutter, the base of the curbstone and the blocking pipe. The said curbstone forms a tenon 11 at one end 10 and a mortise 13 at the other end 12. <IMAGE>
