PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head which can prevent the occurrence of a pseudo gap and secure the firm junction between two ferrite cores by adding a magnetic layer made of niobium 'Permalloy(R)' between a magnetic metallic film and the ferrite core. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic thin film layer 7 is formed between a magnetic metallic film 4' and an I-shaped ferrite core 1. The layer 7 is made of a mag netic material, e.g., the niobium 'Permalloy(R)' having the thermal stability. This material has a high magnetic transformation point, i.e., 900 deg.C and has no magnetic change even at a temperature which melts the glass of a high melting point. Therefore the layer 7 can keep its magnetic stable state despite the heat which is produced when the bonding glass 6 is melted for junction between two ferrite cores 1 and 2. As a result, the stable state is secured for the interface between the layer 7 and both cores 1 and 2 respectively. Further more the output waveform of a magnetic head has no distortion owing to the absence of a nonmagnetic part. Thus both cores 1 and 2 are firmly jointed to each other with no deterioration of the bonding intensity. |
