The present invention relates to a method and an arrangement for optical-fibre initiation by means of a laser of the propellent charges in barrel weapons with a recoiling barrel 11. According to the invention, the laser beam is transmitted from the laser head 6 to the breech block 3 of the weapon and into its propellent charge along a flexible fibre-optic cable 7 which, via a free bow-shaped curve 8 is connected to the breech block 3 in the direction of movement of the latter. <IMAGE> |
