<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a memory and the developing time of software by providing a display device control part with a flashing period counter, a selector specifying a flashing position and a flashing control logical circuit. CONSTITUTION:The flashing period and flashing position of an external display device are set up respectively in a counter 7 and a selector 5 by software. Then, the flashing control logical circuit 6 is substituted for a flashing function controlled by an ordinary software. Namely, the flashing position of an external display device is recognized by the logical circuit 6 and display data in a latch 4 are set or reset by an ON or OFF timing signal outputted from the counter 7. Thus, the external display device can be turned on and off by a hardware included in a microcomputer.</p> |
