摘要

PURPOSE:To suppress dead space in a battery and enhance its volume efficiency by providing an electrode column welding margin at the inside circumference of an outer framing of an electrode plate grating. CONSTITUTION:An electrode column welding margin is provided at the inside circumference of an outer framing of a grating 2 of a plumb battery pos. electrode plate 1, and a support bone 4 is fitted from the bottom of the mentioned welding margin 3. To this 3 a pos. electrode column 5 is Tig welded, wherein a pos. electrode column sealing margin 5a has the same length as the electrode column margin. This provision of electrode column welding part at the inner circumference of the electrode plate allows lessening the dead space in the battery without shortening the electrode column sealing margin 5a, which enhances the volume efficiency.
