PURPOSE:To automatically detect spoilage without relying on a worker to discharge the same by always monitoring the generation of spoilage using a detection means and changing over a printing paper feed passage using a spoilage removing means when the spoilage is detected by the detection means. CONSTITUTION:The state of a paper feed part 12 and the state of printing paper P from the paper feed part 12 to a folder 22 are controlled by a spoilage control part 24. The paper feed part 12 has two rolls 26a, 26b having the printing papers P wound therearound and these rollers 26a, 26b are supported by an arm 28 revolvable in the direction shown by an arrow. In this case, the printing papers P on the rolls 26a, 26b are bonded by an automatic paper splicing device to be continuously fed to the infeed part 14 of the next stage. When the rolls 26a, 26b are replaced in the paper feed part 12, the bonded part is detected using a detection means of a microswitch and the detection signal is outputted to the spoilage control part 24 as an automatic paster signal. |
