Refuse collection truck with lifting beam - incorporates outrigger arms and elevator platform on trolley frame

The refuse collection truck has a rectangular refuse storage chamber (1). The open top of the chamber locates a horizontally movable frame (2) which is provided with telescopic outrigger arms (7). A vertical lifting beam (9), attached to the outrigger arms, is used to lift the refuse containers (15) from the road. An elevator platform (4) on the trolley frame (2) includes a container tilting mechanism so that the refuse container can be emptied into the storage chamber at any required position. USE/ADVANTAGE - Refuse collection truck includes combined refuse container elevator and container tilting mechanism.
