PURPOSE:To make it possible to control a large quantity of a high pressure operating liquid by a small-sized solenoid by a method wherein a throttle is provided midway in a flow passage so that a fluid operating in a direction in which a control valve is closed is attenuated. CONSTITUTION:The throttle 22 is provided for the purpose of applying a fluid force Fc upon a poppet valve 6 so that the operating fluid becomes a jet stream when it flows into a valve chamber 8. The fluid force Fc generating due to the jet stream operates in the direction in which it pushes the poppet valve 6 downward as shown in the drawing, that is, in which the poppet valve 6 is opened. As a consequence, if the magnitude of the fluid force Fc is made equal to the fluid force Ff operating in the direction in which the poppet valve 6 is closed when the force Fc is exerted from a valve chamber 8, the force Ff is attenuated with the force Fc so that the poppet valve 6 is not affected by the fluid forces. |
