PURPOSE:To prevent a car from being thieved by starting an engine only when a proper code is designated. CONSTITUTION:A locking device 3 which may have a cover 2 opened by means of a door key is disposed on the front face of a case 1. After the cover is opened with the door key, a license 6 is inserted into a license slot 5 and a pin key 8 is plugged into a pin connector 7. If the pin connector 7 and the pin key 8 have nine terminals, respectively, one is connected to the earth and the rest, namely eight terminals, are connected to ones of input terminals of anticoincidence circuits N1-N8, respectively. The other terminals of the anticoincidence circuits are respectively connected to the light terminals of the pin connector 10 disposed inside the case 1. The rest one terminal of the same connector 7 is connected to an earth connected terminal of the pin connector 7. Accordingly, if the pin key 8 will not be inserted properly, the engine fails to be started. |
