<p>PURPOSE:To sufficiently develop the function as four-wheel steering by installing an equal phase driving means for steering the front and rear wheels in the equal phase for one operation mode of a steering wheel and installing a reverse phase driving means for steering the front and rear wheels in the reverse phase for other operation mode. CONSTITUTION:When a steering wheel 50 is turned free from lateral shift, a reverse phase driving means 62 is constituted from an input bevel gear 42, first bevel gear 36, idler bevel gear 40, and the second bevel gear 38, and the power taken out from said means 62 is transmitted to the first and second pinion gears 28 and 30 through the front and rear shafts 44 and 46, and said both gears are reversely revolved, and front wheels 12, 12a and rear wheels 14, 14a are steered reversely. When the steering wheel 50 is shifted in the lateral direction free from turn, a casing 34 is turned around the shaft in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle according to the lateral shift quantity, and an equal phase driving means 64 is constituted, and the pinion gears 28 and 30 are revolved in the same direction, and the front and rear wheels are steered in the equal phase.</p> |
