PURPOSE:To miniaturize and lighten a material, by a method wherein 1- 60pts.wt., based on 100pts.wt. a total friction material, of a rigid polymer uniaxial high-orientation fiber is mixed as a friction base material or its assistant material. CONSTITUTION:In case a total composition is 100pts.wt., 1-60pts.wt. rigid high- orientation fiber is mixed as a wet type friction material. A friction base material such as asbestos, pulps may be mixed in the rigid high-orientation fiber. A ratio of a total base material of a friction material is preferably about 20- 60pts.wt. Additionally, even if the mixture ratio of the rigid high-orientation fiber is about 1pt.wt., is has an effect to improve wear resesistance. A mixture ratio of a binder is about 5-50pts.wt., and phenolic resin is used as a resin component. In case novolak is used, hexamethylenetetramine may be used as a hardener. Finally, about 5-30pts.wt a friction adjuster such as various metal powder is used. |
