Control valve, especially for hydraulic brake systems with slip control, with an inlet bore (14) arranged in a receiver body (1) and an outlet bore (15) and a plate-shaped valve device (2), displaceable against the force of a spring (5) in the direction of flow of the medium and having a restrictor (7), at least one return bore (3) passing through the receiver body (1) up to one face of a chamber (4) of the receiver body (1) in contact with the valve device (2), so that the return bore (3), branching off from the closed control circuit of a hydraulic brake system with slip control, ends in a reservoir preferably at atmospheric pressure. Control valves hitherto arranged in the pressure medium circuit of a hydraulic brake system with slip control have the disadvantage that in slip-controlled braking strong pressure pulses give rise to a level of noise, so that pressure pulses and hence the noise can be effectively damped or decoupled by the arrangement of the control valve according to the invention in the hydraulic circuit. <IMAGE>
