<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a color image sensor which is simple in a spectrum control by a method wherein pixels for spectrometry is provided on a specified region in the color image sensor. CONSTITUTION:A solid-state image sensor is formed on a silicon substrate 1, a color separating filter is formed on a light receiving section 2 of the silicon substrate where a subject is imaged, and an electrode supplied with clock signals which are used for a horizontal and a vertical scan, another electrode outputting a video signal, and others are provided onto an electrode pad 3. And, a photometric color separating filter 5 is formed on a window 4 for spectroscopy, using a passivation film 6 formed on the silicon substrate 1 as its support. And, light rays are made to be incident on the window 4 from one side and the light rays which has passed through the photometric color separating filter 5 are detected on the other side, whereby light rays which has passed through the color image sensor can be directly measured. Therefore, spectrometry of transmitted light can be done even though a color separating filter is directly formed on the image sensor, so that a color separating filter is made simple in quality control and improved in reliability.</p> |
