The shelving unit consists of horizontal compartments and sides (1) running vertically between the floor (2) and ceiling (3) of the room. Two sides (1) are concave and held taut between the floor (2) and ceiling (3). A support compartment (7) is connected to the sides (1) by means of fastening and supports further shelves (11) by means of supporting walls (8). The fastenings are in the form of toothed profiled shaped (5) on the sidess (1), and profiled support compartments (7) and/or support-walls (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - The shelving unit can be freely positioned in a room between the floor and ceiling.
