PURPOSE:To eliminate marking operation by hand and facilitate judgement of items by fitting colored rubber, whose color tone is different from that of a weather strip, to the joint parts of weather strip at its front and rear ends. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip 4 is composed of a welt 5, which is fitted to a panel on the car body side, and a hollow seal lip 6 formed in a single body with this welt 5 and put in resilient contact with the periphery of a trunk lid. The front and rear ends of this weather strip 4 are jointed endlessly so as to be in correspondence to the shape of the open edge of car body. This joint part is provided with colored rubber 15, whose color tone differs from that of the weather strip 4. This eliminates marking process by hand to be applied to the joint. This application of colored rubber 15 to the weather strip 4 in the door fitting part allows identification of the left strip from the right. |
