PURPOSE:To improve the straightly advancing property of an automobile by swayably connecting a steering knuckle supporting a front wheel shaft to a frame with upper front and upper rear control arms and lower front and lower rear control arms. CONSTITUTION:Upper front and upper rear control arms 11 and 12 and lower front and lower rear control arms 13 and 14 are provided on an independent suspension 10 supporting the front wheels of a truck on a body frame 21, and a steering knuckle (not shown in the figure) supporting a front wheel shaft is swayably connected by these control arms 11-14. The connection position relations are set to satisfy the preset conditions on the king pin offset, king pin inclination, caster, camber, and scrub radius. The straightly advancing property, steering stability and comfortableness to ride of a car are improved. |
