PURPOSE:To increase the peripheral speed of a band saw, to continuously perform highly efficient cutting processing and to almost dispense with dressing work on the way of processing by shaking a work holding table almost around the center of a work in parallel to the running direction of the band saw at a predetermined shaking angle in the predetermined shaking number of times. CONSTITUTION:A work (structure) 1 is held on a table 2 moving up and down as well as before and behind. The table 2 is shaken around a fulcrum 3 in parallel to the running direction of a diamond band saw 4. The diamond band saw 4 is rotated and run while guided by band saw guides 5, 6 to out the raised work 1. When a shaking condition is set so that an angle is 6 deg. and the number of rotations are 100 times/min, stable work is performed even when processing is continuously performed for 50hr in a set state, a lowering of the cutting quality is not confirmed. Contrarily, the cutting quality is lowered after 5hr when the table is not shaken and the continuation of work becomes difficult. When shaking at angles of 2 deg. and 1 deg. is tried, marked effect enhancing a work continuous time is not confirmed. It is also difficult to set the peripheral speed of the band saw to about 900m/min or more when the table is not shaken. |
