PURPOSE:To enhance manufacturing efficiency by performing assembling without requiring the accurate positioning of a nozzle orifice by providing respective heating elements each allowing an ink droplet to fly from the nozzle orifice by pressure to the respective regions demarcated on a base plate corresponding to the nozzle orifices of a nozzle plate by a spacer. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 2 is interposed between a base plate 3 and a nozzle plate 1 and nozzle orifices 5 of the nozzle plate 1 are supported so as to be spaced apart by a definite distance with respect to the heating element 6 of the base plate 3 by a spacer 2 and the adjacent heating elements 6, 6 are mutually separated by the spacer 2. Since there are a plurality of nozzle orifices 5 opened at a pitch shorter than one side of the heating element 6 in a diameter smaller than one side thereof, it is unnecessary to perform the positioning of the nozzle orifices 5 with respect to the heating element and assembling efficiency is enhanced. When voltage is applied to the heating elements, the pressures in the ink supply spaces S demarcated by the spacer 2 inclusive of the nozzle orifices 5 corresponding to the heating elements 6 and the ink in each of the ink supply space S is emitted as an ink droplet through each nozzle orifice to perform printing. |
