In a shut-off flap for pipelines, with a sealing seat fixed relative to the housing, with a flap-drive shaft which passes through the housing and on which a disc is arranged eccentrically, and with a gear, the drive of which acts on a rotary flap which is arranged parallel to the disc and which, together with the latter, pivots in front of a seat fixed relative to the housing and, by means of the gear, is displaced axially in the pipeline housing during the rotation of the drive shaft in order to make sealing contact, provision is made, according to the invention, for mounting the disc (9) fixedly in terms of rotation on the drive shaft (5) and the rotary flap (12) displaceably on the disc eccentric (6, 7), and for connecting the rotary flap (12) to the output (13) of the gear (18) in such a way that, to make sealing contact with the axially extending sealing seat (3, 4) fixed relative to the housing, the rotary flap (12) is displaceable in the direction of the disc (9) and a flexible gasket (22) connecting the rotary-flap edge (20) to the disc edge (21) is deformable radially outwards (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
