PURPOSE:To provide a parts feeder which can supply rivets one by one assuredly by providing a shutter and a slider to prevent misfeeding or deformation of the rivet due to inclination of the rivet. CONSTITUTION:Rivets 3 supplied from a parts feeder and arranged in a line are pushed so as to transfer the rivet 3 on one end from a retaining groove 2 to a receiving groove 5. A shutter 4 pushed to move by a piston rod 12 of an air cylinder forces the receiving groove 5 to communicate with a notch 14 mounted on a guide 1. When the shutter 4 is further pushed in such a manner as to be brought into contact with a stopper, a driving pin 15 mounted on the shutter 4 is pressed against one end of a bell crank 9 pivoted on a shaft 11, so that a slider 6 is driven in the direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the shutter 4 by the other end of the bell crank 9. Thus, the rivet 3 retained in the receiving groove 5 is pushed out into the notch 14 by the slider 6 to be dropped down through the notch 14. |
