CONSTITUTION:When a paper discharge mode is selected, a solenoid 7 is turned on to move a flapper 6 and a sheet which is carried by a conveyor roller couple 5 is guided to a paper discharge tray and discharged and stacked. At this time, the solenoid 11 is turned on and a destaticization stylus 12 passes through the hole 6a of the flapper 6 to contact the sheet, which is destaticized. When a paper feeding mode is selected, on the other hand, the sheet clamped by the conveyor roller couple 5 is fed to an image formation part and the destaticizing stylus 12 never contacts the sheet at this time. Consequently, the life of the destaticizing stylus 12 is prolonged and the deformation and breakage of the destaticizing stylus 12 are reduced. |
