<p>Partial thromboplastin time (PTT) is determined for monitoring and controlling heparin therapy with a test kit having increased sensitivity to heparin. Increased sensitivity is obtained by including with reagents in the test kit an organic sulfuric acid or salt thereof such as dodecylbenzenesulfuric acid-sodium salt and/or an organic sulfuric acid ester or salt thereof such as sodium laurylsulfate.</p> |
