PURPOSE:To measure the transmission characteristics of a sample to be measured on the outside of a sample chamber by leading the light spectrally split by a spectroscope to the outside of the sample chamber by using an optical fiber and introducing the transmitted light from the sample to be measured again into the sample chamber. CONSTITUTION:The sample 4a is housed into a dark curtain 9 of a large-sized sample housing part 10 to shield the sample 4a from disturbing light and the light from the spectroscope 3 is introduced by the optical fiber 7 and is projected to the sample 4a if the sample 4a is too large to the housed in the sample chamber 5 in case of measuring the optical transmission characteristics of the sample 4a to be measured. The transmitted light transmitted through the sample 4a is introduced by the optical fiber 8 into a photoelectron multiplier 6 and the transmitted light from the sample 4a is multiplied by the multiplier 6, by which the optical transmission characteristics of the sample 4a are measured. The transmission characteristics of the sample 4a are measured even on the outside of the sample chamber 5 and the transmission characteristics of the optical filter, etc., which are too large to be housed in the sample chamber 5 and are mounted to the optical device are thus measured by using optical filters 7, 8. |
