PURPOSE:To enable take-up density to be averaged by keeping the max. width reciprocating motion with temporary stoppage in the max. width reciprocating motion of a traverse guide and selecting sequentially the stoppage time with a plurality of timers to vary creeping stopping time. CONSTITUTION:A cam plate 9 is turned by the rotation of a cam 1, and a traverse guide 13 fitted in a groove 12 in a traverse drum 11 and guided to a groove 10 in the cam plate 9 has the min. traverse width at point B and the max. one at point C. Also, a switch LS is turned on at point C to disengage a clutch and stop the rotation of a cam shaft 2. At the same time a stepping relay SR is operated by magnetizing a relay TO2, and the contact is changed over from 1 to 2 to turn on a timer relay 22 and engage the clutch after a predetermined time. And with further rotation the contact is changed over from 2 to 3 and the timer to T23. Thus, on the way of taking up one package, cleeping stopping time is properly changed to average take-up density in both ends. |
