The removal of the sealing membrane in the exit nozzle of cartridges occurs usually with the aid of a mandrel, with which the membrane is penetrated and the orifice thus made is widened, so that the pressing out of the substance can occur without difficulty. The new process is intended to permit an automatic removal of the sealing membrane from the flow path of the substance at the beginning of the pressing out procedure. The sealing membrane (38) located in the exit nozzle of the cartridge is opened by a relative movement between the cartridge (12, 13) and a coupling part (20) connected to the exit nozzles (30, 31) of said cartridge, by means of a cutting element (37) mounted on said coupling part, at least to such a degree that the sealing membrane (38) completely or partially releases the flow path for the substance as a result of the pressure exerted at the beginning of the pressing out procedure on the cartridge (12, 13) by the substance contained in it. <IMAGE> |
