PURPOSE:To miniaturize the title device, to eliminate its connection loss and temperature dependency and to allow it to have a high performance by connecting directly one end of a mode stabilizer to an optical branching device. CONSTITUTION:A light beam from a light source 3 is led to a mode stabilizer 1 through an optical connector 4, its high-order mode component is eliminated, and it is led to an optical branching device 5. Subsequently, the light beam passes through an extension optical fiber 10 and reaches a sensor 7, through an optical connector 2-2 fitted to a connecting adaptor 9 attached to a measuring instrument enclosure 8 from the optical branching device 5. Next, the light beam goes into a detector 11, and in accordance with information, a detecting output is obtained. |
