PURPOSE: To provide a clamp without a spring by making two nipping and holding branches of which basic parts are connected by a thin-walled part forming an elastic hinge and a cylindrical housing on the other side of this thin-walled part by a single member and putting an operation member into the housing. CONSTITUTION: A nipping and holding tool 1 is made by a single member made of an injection molded synthetic material such as polyester. This nipping and holding tool has two parallel nipping and holding arms 3 and 4 on which projections 5 and 6 are provided on opposing faces, and the arms are connected by a comparatively thin-walled part 7 capable of bending elastically in their basic parts. The nipping and holding tool has a cylindrical housing 8 on the other side of this thin-walled part 7, and this housing 8 is opened in the transverse direction along a cut-in section 9. By pressing a cylindrical pin 2 slightly larger than a diameter of the cylindrical housing 8 of the nipping and holding tool into the housing 8, the arms 3 and 4 of the nipping and holding tool approach mutually to enable tightening. |
