PURPOSE:To obtain highly reliable regenerative signals with the title recorder and, simultaneously, to miniaturize the recorder by correcting pulse lengths so that the length of recording bits can correspond to the pulse length of recording information and driving a magnetic coil by means of corrected recording information. CONSTITUTION:Recording information inputted to a pulse length correction circuit 6 is inputted to a magnetic coil driver 5 as recording signals (i) after its pulse length is corrected. A magnetic coil 4 is driven based on the signals (i) and a corrected magnetic field is impressed upon a recording medium 1. On the other hand, the laser beam of a semiconductor laser 2 is condensed on the medium 1 and produces the curie temperature. As a result, recording bits are formed in corresponding to the magnetic field. Since the signals (i) are corrected by the circuit 6, the bit length of the recording bits corresponds to the corrected recording information. Therefore, highly reliable regenerative signals are obtained and simultaneously, the size and cost of this recorder can be reduced. |
