PURPOSE:To feed a sheet of paper one by one from a group of paper by means of an absorption force by providing an absorption plate with an electrostatic absorption force at a paper passage portion between a delivery section and a feed section in a feed paper device such as an electronic copying machine. CONSTITUTION:Initially, a sheet of paper slides on a paper passage surface 13 by overcoming the absorption force of the paper passage surface 13, but as the contact area with the paper passage surface 13 increases the resistance applied to the paper also increases, thus making a further proceeding difficult, and the paper is stopped on a dielectric plate 14. At this time, a delivery roller 9 is continued rotating, and a part of the paper, i.e., the portion on the side of 8 of the delivery roller which is not absorbed by the dielectric plate 14 is deformed in a heave, then the portion absorbed by the dielectric plate 14 is gradually floated due to the nerve of the deformed portion and is finally separated from the dielectric plate 14 almost completely. Then, the tip of the paper is introduced into the contact section of waiting feed rollers 20, 21 and is pulled toward the feed section, i.e., an arrow direction Y. |
