CIRCUIT ARRANGEMENT FOR A TELEPHONE APPARATUS WITH A LOUDSPEAKER

In a telephone user station with a loop-fed loudspeaker and hands- free dialling facility, the hook switch contact and the loudspeaker button are connected to a first control device, which is powered from an energy store which is maintained in a charged state by means of a low-power loop current when the telephone user station is in idle mode. When the handset is lifted or the loudspeaker button pressed while the telephone is on-hook, the loop is closed at the instigation of the first control device through the actuation of switching means, so that the telephone user station is switched on or is switched to "hands-free dialling" mode. The switching means are also used to generate dial pulses, while the control signals are sent from the second control device to the first control device and thence to the switching means.
