<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently retrieve an aimed image from a large quantity of moving image information in an interactive type at a high speed by extracting the part of the moving image information to show the feature of a retrieval image for each retrieval image unit, editing the set of scenes as a menu image and retrieving the aimed retrieval image from the menu image. CONSTITUTION:At the time of inputting a retrieval image 3a, the part to show the feature of the retireval moving image is decided as a scene 2a, and it is executed as to respective retireval images 3b.... At the time of the retrieval, the scene is arranged in a time base direction, the moving image is made into a menu image 1a, a retrieving person sees the menu image 1a, he searches for the scene to coincide with the aim of the retrieval, and thereby, the aimed retrieval moving image is outputted. Thus, to a large quantity of moving image information, the retrieval can be efficiently executed in the interactive type at a high speed based on the contents of the image.</p> |
