CODING MODULATION DEMODULATION CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To improve the general-purpose application of a coding modulator demodulator circuit by optimizing a mapping method and using one mapping circuit and a de-mapping circuit for a modulation system with a different multi- value number. CONSTITUTION:An additional bit corresponding to 2 sets of symbols (m modulator demodulator circuit (n is a natural number being 3 or over) is the addition of a specific code to the addition bit of a coding 2 modulator demodulator circuit. Thus, a general-purpose mapping circuit and a general-purpose de-mapping circuit are used in common for the modulation system of a different multi-value number. For example, a general-purpose mapping circuit 10 is used in common for coding 64QAM, 32QAM, 16QAM. Then the general-purpose application of the modulation demodulation circuit is improved.
