POWER FEEDING METHOD FOR OPTICAL SUBMARINE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To simplify the rising procedure of power feeding by connecting a diode in series with a feeder in a forward direction to block the current flowing from a ground fault point. CONSTITUTION:Diodes D1-Dn are inserted in the forward direction to the power feeding direction at a prescribed position of a feeder branched by a submarine branching device 100 so as to feed power without being affected by a grounding fault caused in the branched feeder. That is. since the flowing of the current from the ground fault point is blocked, the rise of feeding is applied without taking the feeder having a ground fault into account. Thus, it is not required to change the feed rising procedure depending on the fault condition and the rising procedure of the feeding is simplified.
