<p>In extracorporeal circulation using an artificial heart/lung apparatus or the like, a temperature measuring device in accordance with the present invention can be used suitably for measuring a blood temperature in extracorporeal circulation. The temperature measuring device has a metal heat transfer member consisting of a bottomed cylindrical body and a temperature detecting device such as a thermistor. An electrically insulating film is formed in a thin film on the inner surface of the heat transfer member and the temperature detecting device is fixed through this electrically insulating film to the inner bottom side of the heat transfer member facing the external bottom surface coming into contact with an object of measurement. Therefore, the heat transfer member need not project far into the blood flow path and moreover, since the temperature detecting device is surrounded with the heat transfer member consisting of the bottomed cylindrical body, the device of the invention can measure the blood temperature highly accurately and efficiently without being affected by unnecessary external temperatures. Furthermore, the insulating film can prevent impression of a voltage to the blood.</p> |
