PURPOSE:To obtain a direct positive silver halide photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity providing high contrast, and causing stripping of a silver halide emulsion layer on a glass substrate in a stage of development by incorporating a silane coupling agent in a constituting layer at a side of the direct positive silver halide emulsion layer on the glass substrate. CONSTITUTION:To the title direct positive silver halide photographic sensitive material, at least one direct positive silver halide emulsion layer contg. silver halide particles which have been fogged in the presence of a reduction fogging agent and a water-soluble Au compd. is provided on a glass substrate. In the above-described constitution, a silane coupling agent is incorporated into a constitution at the direct positive silver halide emulsion layer side on the glass substrate. Thus, a silver halide photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity, providing high contrast, and causing no delamination of the silver halide emulsion layer during development on the glass substrate, is obtd. |
