<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an underexposed picture even when a self-timer operation starts at the time of incompletely charging a stroboscope by deciding whether stroboscopic light is used or not by a metering means which detects brightness of an object after a set time by the self-timer is counted up. CONSTITUTION:A charging operation of a capacitor C2 for a stroboscope started by interlocking the prescribed operation prior to a release operation is stopped by the release operation, and a photographing sequence control means consisting of a microcomputer 20 is operated in order to detect whether a self-timer mode is set or not. When the self-timer mode is set, and when the capacitor C2 for the stroboscope is not completely charged, the capacitor C2 is intermittently charged while counting the set time by the self-timer continues, and automatic metering is performed after completing charging. The camera is constituted in such a way. Therefore, although the set time by the self-timer passes to perform photographing, an underexposed picture is prevented; moreover, such trouble requiring an operator to reset the self-timer can be eliminated.</p> |
