<p>PURPOSE:To remove magnetic powder sticking to a head surface or a head gap before enlarging the sticking magnetic power by providing a tension means for making the tape tension larger than a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:The tape tension means is provided to make the tape tension larger than the prescribed value. A tape 4 is relatively moved in the direction of an arrow B by rotating forward heads 2 and 3 provided on a rotary drum 1, and the magnetic powder 6 on the tape sticks to the head gap 7 with resultant force F of tension E owing to the tape tension and the arrow B, so as to be the sticking magnetic powder 6a. Then, when the tape 4 is relatively moved in the direction of an arrow G by rotating reversely the rotary drum 1, the sticking magnetic powder 6a is exfoliated by resultant force 1 of tension H owing to the tape tension and the arrow G.</p> |
